Urban Waste Water Flow Monitoring - Cavan Town

An assessment was carried out of all flows in the catchment area. A number of key industrial activities were also assessed as it was viewed that these may contribute a significant portion of the organic and hydraulic loadings to the plant.
Flow monitoring was also carried out on influent and effluent streams to the plant and all associated storm water systems over a two week monitoring period.
EURO environmental services also carried out chemical analysis on waste water streams for a range of key pollutants. All analysis was carried out in our UKAS and INAB accredited analytical laboratories. Findings from this report were then used as a basis to design the redevelopment of the existing waste water treatment plant.
