Air Emissions Monitoring Pharmaceutical Plant - Northern Ireland
EURO environmental services were recently commissioned to carry out air emissions monitoring on a pharmaceutical plant in
Northern Ireland. The operator wanted to increase the volume of air emissions from combustion processes, while also extending adjoining buildings.
EURO environmental services carried out baseline monitoring which included the following:
-
Monitoring of air emissions for a range of pollutants including particulates, NOx, SO2, CO, HF, HCl and dioxins.
-
Dispersion modelling of all pollutants based on stack concentrations and Met data using AERMOD software.
-
Predictive modelling of the increased air volume and its potential impact on the neighbouring air quality.
-
Predictive modelling of the changes to adjoining building structures and their potential impact on neighbouring air quality.
All of the above was used a part of the planning application and revised IPPC permit application for the operator.
