Dispersion Modelling
Air dispersion modelling is used to predict ground level pollutant concentrations in an area around the source(s). The air dispersion models predicts maximum ground level concentrations or Point of Impingement (POI) concentrations at locations in the vicinity of facilities that emit contaminants into the air. From this the impact of air emissions from a variety of industrial sources can be assessed. Models are site specific. Input data includes stack measurement details from the site, current stack and building heights, local meteorological data and corrections for local topography and adjacent buildings.
