GC Technician – Temporary Contract
The successful candidate will be responsible for method development, method validation and routine sample analysis within the organics laboratory in the Analytical Services Department of Euro environmental services.
Day to day responsibilities will include:

Analysis of samples using GCMS and GCFID.
·
Data interpretation and inputting of analysis results.
·
Method development and validation as required.
·
Preparation of samples for GC analysis.
·
Maintaining quality control within GC analysis.
·
Stock control within the GC department.
·
Any other ad hoc duties.
The ideal candidate will have:
·
Good analytical skills and ideally experience in Organic analysis.
·
Be technically minded with previous instrumentation method development experience.
·
Excellent administrative and computer skills – fully proficient in MS Word, Excel and Email.
·
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
·
Be reliable and flexible with excellent time keeping and attendance record.
