REPS
REPS testing is required by agricultural landowners and farmers all over Ireland for the good of the environment. This scheme allows for better productivity and can be beneficial in many ways.
There are a number of different types of Agricultural Management Plans, e.g. Manure, Soil and Nutrient. A manure management plan deals with areas where manures are spread and deals with the effects of this manure in underground water systems where it can cause pollution.
The same could be said for a soil management plan which assesses the soils in the area and is intended to prevent soil erosion and maintain good soil structure.
