environmental services can carry out inspections and testing of bund and sump structures at any site facility in accordance with requirements set out any IPPC licence.
Bund and sump testing is carried out to section 9: inspection and testing: BS 8007:1987, British Standard Code of Practice for Design of concrete structures for retaining aqueous liquids.
Additional controls of water and a rainfall gauge can be erected for the monitoring period to determine the volume of rainfall and rates of evaporation during the survey.
EURO environmental services will then provide a full report and interpretation of results for your IPPC licence.
